The product

Everything in the dashboard.

One dashboard, connected to your site however your platform allows. Every capability below is on the free plan or a paid one; nothing is hidden behind a demo.

How it works

Four things the dashboard does for you.

Each one shown as it happens in the product: the scan, the fix and its verification, the record it leaves behind, and the platforms it runs on.

The scanner reads your site the way a screen reader does.

Every page is read the way assistive technology reads it. Problems are named in plain English: “Text too light to read”, not a criterion number.

  • 100+ WCAG 2.2 AA rules, graded by axe-core
  • Ranked by real-world lawsuit exposure
  • A score, with the honest note that a score is not compliance
The AbleGuard scan results screen, with problems ranked by legal risk

Deterministic fixes. Verified live, or no number at all.

Rules, not guesses. They touch attributes and CSS only, so a layout cannot break, and nothing ships until you approve it.

  • Attributes and CSS only; a layout cannot break
  • Approve one at a time, or in bulk by confidence
  • If the re-check cannot finish, the figure is suppressed
The AbleGuard fixes screen, with a before and after verification

A statement backed by data, and a record that builds itself.

Nobody can honestly promise compliance. What helps is a statement built from real scan data, and a dated record of the work.

  • Statement published on your own domain
  • Hard-coded to say “partially conformant”, because that is true
  • Evidence pack you could hand to a lawyer
The AbleGuard evidence screen, showing the statement and the dated record

One product for every site you run.

WordPress gets the strongest mode: pages leave your server already fixed. Everywhere else, approved rules run in the browser. LAUNCH SCOPE

  • WordPress: fixes applied at the source
  • Shopify: connected through an app
  • Wix, Squarespace, any site: one snippet, rules run in the browser

What we will not pretend

We tell you what we can’t fix.

Roughly a third of WCAG is human judgement, and AbleGuard does not guess at it. The manual checklist walks you through those checks, the test report names what the product does not fix, and if a re-check cannot finish we print no number at all. On one store the first pass made a page worse; verification caught it. That is the point.

  • Deterministic fixes: attributes and CSS only
  • Verified on your live page, or no number
  • Statement says “partially conformant”
  • AI never overwrites a human’s alt text

Frequently asked, about the product

Straight answers to the questions people ask before they connect a site.

Is AbleGuard an accessibility overlay?

No. On WordPress, fixes are written into the page on the server. On platforms that only allow a script, fixes do run in the browser, the only way those platforms permit, but they are rules you approved one by one, verified on your live page, deterministic, and limited to attributes and one stylesheet. An overlay guesses at everything, all the time, and hides the guessing behind a widget.

Will AbleGuard make my site ADA or EAA compliant?

No tool can honestly promise that, and you should be suspicious of any that does. The FTC fined the largest overlay vendor $1 million for exactly that claim. What we do instead: find the problems, fix what can be fixed safely, verify each fix on your live pages, guide you through the checks that need a human, and produce the statement and evidence that demonstrate ongoing, good-faith effort.

Will it slow down my website?

No. Scanning runs on our servers, not yours. On WordPress the plugin applies approved fixes as your pages are generated, a few milliseconds of server-side work and no extra JavaScript for your visitors. On snippet platforms it is one small script applying pre-approved rules, not a third-party widget on every page view.

Do I need to know anything about accessibility or code?

No. Every problem and every fix is explained in plain English. You review and approve; the rest is applied for you. If you work with a developer, any issue can produce a brief with the corrected code.

What happens if a fix breaks my site?

It is built not to. Fixes only set attributes and CSS, so they cannot move or remove anything, and nothing is applied until you approve it. Every approved fix is re-measured on the live page; if the re-check finds a new problem, it is flagged, not shipped. Switching a fix off restores the original markup. TBD — engineering

What happens when I remove AbleGuard?

Fixes written into your content, like alt text saved to your media library, stay permanently. Render-time fixes stop. Your dashboard keeps the full record of what was fixed, so nothing is lost.

Which platforms and page builders does it work with?

WordPress, where fixes are applied at the source; Shopify through an app; Wix, Squarespace and any site that can take a script tag, where fixes run in the browser. Wix and Squarespace only allow custom code on paid plans. On WordPress, builder rule packs add higher-confidence fixes for SeedProd and WPConsent today, with Elementor, Divi, Astra and Kadence next.
