Legal-risk scoring
Most scanners list problems alphabetically or by WCAG number. AbleGuard ranks them by real-world lawsuit exposure, so the first thing you fix is the thing most likely to cost you.
- Ranked by exposure, not alphabet
- A score, with the honest caveat
- On every plan, including Free

Why it matters
Why the order of the list matters.
The costly things first
Findings are ordered by real-world lawsuit exposure, so the top of the list is the part most likely to actually cost you money.
Severity from axe-core
The technical weight of each problem comes from axe-core, the engine most of the industry audits with. The ordering is what we add.
Weighted toward what visitors touch
A broken checkout button matters more than a heading level on a policy page. The ranking reflects that rather than treating every rule alike.
One number to watch
A single score makes movement visible week to week — up when you fix things, down when a plugin update undoes them.
The caveat travels with the score
The score is never presented as compliance. It says how much automation could find, and it is stated that way everywhere it appears.
Included on every plan
Ranking and the score are not a paid upgrade. They are part of the free five-page check too.
How it works
Three steps, no vocabulary to learn.
Every finding gets a severity
axe-core grades each problem from minor to critical. That is the technical weight.
Exposure is layered on top
The kinds of failures that recur in demand letters and complaints move up the list, so severity alone does not decide the order.
The list re-orders itself
What you see first is the costliest, not the most common. Fix from the top and each hour of work lowers exposure fastest.

How a list becomes a plan.
Ranking is the difference between an audit you file away and a list you can work down on a Tuesday afternoon.
Ordered by exposure, not by rule number.
Most scanners hand back findings sorted by WCAG criterion, which tells you nothing about where to start. This list is ordered by how much trouble each problem actually attracts.
- Severity graded by axe-core
- Ordered by real-world exposure
- A score you can watch move

Every item still says what it is in plain words.
Ranking does not mean hiding detail. Each finding keeps its severity, the pages it appears on, and a description you can read without a WCAG reference open beside you.
- Named the way an owner would say it
- Shows how many pages are affected
- Critical, serious and moderate are labelled
Not held back for a higher tier.
The score and the ranking are part of the product, including the free check. What the paid plans buy is scale and cadence — more pages, scanned more often.
- Free: 1 site, 5 pages, monthly
- Paid plans add pages and frequency
- 14-day money-back guarantee

Frequently asked questions
About legal-risk scoring. The product-wide questions are on the features page.
Why not just fix everything the scan finds?
You can, and on a paid plan bulk approval by confidence makes that fast. Ranking matters when time is short: a small team fixing the top ten by exposure does more for its risk than clearing fifty minor items.
Which laws is “exposure” measured against?
ADA web complaints in the US and the European Accessibility Act, enforceable since 28 June 2025 with the first lawsuits filed in France in November 2025. The EAA also applies to non-EU sellers reaching EU consumers. How the two are weighted is being documented. TBD — product
