Wix and Squarespace: one pasted snippet.

Both platforms allow custom code, and both put it behind a paid plan — on their cheapest tiers you cannot install anything at all, ours included. If you are on a plan that allows custom code, it is one snippet in your site’s head and the scan can start.

  • One snippet in your site’s head
  • Custom code needs a paid platform plan
  • Fixes run in the browser here

Why it matters

Before anything else: check your plan.

  • Custom code is a paid feature

Wix and Squarespace both gate it. On their cheapest tiers no accessibility tool can install at all, including this one.

  • One snippet, then it works

If your plan permits custom code, it is one script in the site head and the scan can start immediately.

  • Fixes run in the browser

These platforms do not allow server-side changes, so this is the only mechanism available and we are not dressing it up.

  • Approved, deterministic, verified

The rules are fixed, you approve each one, they touch attributes and CSS only, and each is re-measured live.

  • Platform components stay theirs

If the builder’s own navigation is structurally broken, that is the platform’s to fix. We will flag it and say we cannot.

  • Free check works the same

Five pages, monthly, no card — assuming you can install the snippet in the first place.

How it works

Three steps, no vocabulary to learn.

  1. Confirm your plan allows custom code

Wix and Squarespace both gate this. If your current tier cannot add a snippet, no accessibility tool can install on your site, and you would need to upgrade the platform plan first.

  2. Paste one snippet, scan

One script in the head, then the scan runs on our servers against 100+ WCAG 2.2 AA rules and ranks what it finds by real legal exposure.

  3. Approve rules, verify on the live page

Attributes and CSS only, applied in the browser because that is all the platform permits, and every fix re-measured on the live page afterwards.

One snippet, and its honest limits.

This is the platform where the difference between us and an overlay is hardest to see, so it is the one worth explaining most carefully.

One script tag in the site head.

No theme editing, nothing to maintain. The scan then runs on our servers, so your site’s performance is not part of the deal.

  • Needs a plan that allows custom code
  • Scanning runs on our servers
  • No theme edits

Browser-side, and here is what that costs.

The fixes are applied in the browser, exactly as an overlay’s are. The difference is that each one is a rule you approved, bounded to attributes and CSS, and verified on your live page.

  • No server-side mode on these platforms
  • Rules you approved, not continuous guessing
  • Re-measured on the live page

Frequently asked questions

About wix and squarespace. The product-wide questions are on the features page.

Which plans can install it?

Any Wix or Squarespace plan that lets you add custom code to the site head. Their entry tiers do not, and there is no way around that from our side.

Is this an overlay, then?

The delivery is browser-side, like an overlay. The behaviour is not: an overlay guesses continuously and hides it behind a widget; these are fixed rules you approved, applied to attributes and CSS, then measured on your live page. If a re-check cannot finish, we print no number.

Can you fix the built-in navigation or forms?

Only where a fix is an attribute or a style. If the platform’s own component is broken in its structure, that is the platform’s to fix, and the honest answer is that we will flag it and not be able to repair it.
